what is the difference between the VE and P-pump gear housing?

what the threas title states. i bought the front half of a 94 or so i was told but i think the gear housing that was sent is off a 93. the engine plate is missing

there should be 4 studs on the back where the injection pump bolts to that should tell you...the ve has 3 studs
