What lift pump for 02 ram

Hi, what lift pump do you guys recommend for an 02 6spd dually?
 
I have a FASS in mine, but it seems that everyone is recommending Airdog now.

Can anyone fill in the details? Don't want to hijack, send a PM if you want.
 
Just about any of them from FASS or PureFlow Tech (Air Dog/ Raptor). The Raptor kits are the easiest and cheapest I've seen. I installed a Raptor 150 on an 02 last week and had it on the truck and running in about 30 minutes. The new quick connect setup they have with the kits are very simple and straight forward. The hardest part was trying to get the factory fuel line unhooked from the factory draw straw on the tank. Although which ever kit you go with, be sure to add a fuel pressure gauge of some kind to the truck. Anything over 18psi and usually the VP44 won't last long.
 
I like the Raptor due to the built in pressure regulator so you don't need a return line and it's cheaper.
 
Im in the process of puttin an airdog II 165 on an 01. The install is fairly simple just a matter of havin time between work and my kids...

I just purchased this truck and looking through the glove box I found paper work indicating the in tank conversion has been done and the injection pump was also replaced in 2006

Nice.....the in tank pump is a huge improvement over the stock lift pump.
 
I've found that the in-tank pump will go out too. Just delays the inevitable... Go FASS or Airdog.
 
i have an in tank pump and it does not provide enough fuel pressure. i had to add abooster pump to get the pressure up. if one of those fails i will be screwed. got an airdog II at home. it comes with what you need to remove the in tank pump. as soon as i am home long enogh it will go on the truck. the in tank pump is crap.
