MY uncle owns a 2002 HO 6 speed. He just installed a pyro, boost,FP gauge setup. He also installed an air dog fuel pump. He is now asking me what power adder he should use. He wants it to be adjustable on the fly he mentioned Edge Juice with attitude.

PS: everything else is stock. Stock turbo, clutch everything. There is also a little over 100K on the truck.

1. Whats a good power adder for him.

2. I need some prices form you guys

Find a used Comp box, you don't need the juice with attitude since he already has gauges. After you get it installed and the wire tapped, start looking for clutches, the stocker is NOT gonna last long, they are weaker than pumpwater. South Bend CON-O can't be beat if the comp is all he plans to do to it.

Might want to get a new intake and exhaust to help get some air to and from that stock turbo too.

Ive always liked the TST PowerMax2. Drove a truck that had one and liked it enough that when I get a 24v itll get one. I figure if the PM2 was good, the PM3 would be better, but not sure on that...

I would start by getting a Smarty.

That way, he can check codes, adjust tire height, and not fry the stock clutch.

If he wants more juice, he can always stack the Smarty with something else down the road.

If you go with the edge comp you'd be better off buying a used one and sending it off to edge to get updated. It'll work like it brand new.

He was looking for something adjustable on the fly. Otherwise I would highly recommend a Smarty.

Wow. Not sure how I missed that part.

If he can find one, I would also look for a Blue Chip FMS. 64 levels of adjustment, and you generally don't get the nasty de-fueling stutter you get with other boxes. They are extremely expensive, but the adjustability and reliability are worth the extra cost in my opinion.

If you don't want to spend that much, I would look for a used Comp or TST. Should be able to find either of those for a good price.
