It is a 10-lug in the back of a 60's Chevy bus with a GVW of 19,500. It also sports 20" rims.

Poo I was hoping I found something worth while  Jeremy got any SQHD's or leads on any cheap ones?

Whats the tag on the axle say? The Eaton will work if you can find gears for them. No dont have any SQHD's but do have a 172 with 6.20 in it though. H172 and SQHD are going to be the back axle on alot of road tractors. If it were me id put a 106 in it till you break it. Your going to have to get a set of hubs made $1800 to be able to put any knid of 16" wheels on them. Ive only seen 1 SQHD/172 that has the 6 lug hubs on them and i own it, not saying they didnt make them just havnt seen but this one

Dang it. Well I guess I will keep lookin.... What about knocking every other stud out on a 10-lug and running a wide 5 pattern....

I will try to find 1 to measure but i think the pattern is still going to be to big even with 5 to go in a 16" wheel

Nice site!! but boy they are proud of some of them,ie SQHD $900+ $400 core you will have 3500 in that thing in a hurry

There are a couple 106's with the bolt kits in them ready to be mounted here in MO if your interested Brandon. Give Haisleys a call. I think they said they had some SQ's and 172's.

i would call your first pic a "road tractor" the second pic is a "straight truck"

i know of a modified gasser who runs an eaton. he says he never had any trouble with it.

If you want to help Brandon, we can cut the axle out of that thing so you can figure out what it is for sure.

Might also have another source for something...I'll make a call.

Yes the first pic Haloman is where you will find most of the SQHD and 172's not to say that you cant find them under the second pic but alot more common under a road tractor as the back axle

Thanks for info. Might have a source for a couple then. I'll make some calls.
