I was curious as to what the majority thought, I plan on a 80mm range charger under the 66 in the future. This set-up will be with twin stock cp3's and a smarty. 5's mabey?

What happened to the puller? So your getting into racing now. Looks like youve got a good start.

If it is for the 06 i would say flux 3.3 and when you go to twins to a 4.3 that is as big as you could really ever need on an 04.5+ truck because of the way they fuel on the bottom end.

he has been a racer at heart for a long time, Just some are slower then others to admit "I want to Go Fast!!!"

I changed my mind to go fast this fall. I had my 3.3's upgraded to 4.5's and I would not go any smaller maybe a 4.3 but that would be it. 3.3's would be on the small side for that.

Could I control low fuel with the smarty by not running it on the road?

Thanks for giving me some real world experience! :Cheer:

yeah if you didn't run the smarty but then you won't really get the use of the bigger injectors on the street. there are many guys i know on here that will tell you the same thing i did. the 3.3 will be good with the 66 the 4.3 are gonna be way to much for it. now with the twins and the 4.3 you will be in the high 800hp -mid- 900hp range. the 3.3 and the 66 is going to put in the high 600's low 700's

I got something a bit over a 200hp or 110% over.. I have not driven it yet, but I have to suspect it's going to be just about perfect. Even for a little "64". I should have enough full to knock on the door of 1000hp on fuel if I work the air side a little.

The problem is the short rpm range a single will have once you get it on boost.

3.3s with my first set of twins (Phat Shaft 62 over B2) were awesome on the street, very driveable, and netted me 733 rwhp.

Upgraded twins to HTT 64/71/13 over a Super Dave and running 5s netted me the numbers below. All on DF2. Went to a a looser torque converter in the process. It's a daily driver with the H2 cam.

It's not the easiest thing in terms of smoke control, but it's certainly doable.

anything bigger than 120hp injector will get pretty hot with the single charger. Over a s480, A 250 injector would be about right.

Keep the info and thoughts pouring in! I want my air to limit me right now rather than my fuel???
