What size shock are you using to clear your turbo

what size shock are you using to clear your turbo... my tubro hits my shock tower on the turbo side of the motor... i wanna make a plate to stick in its place and just get a shorter shock... im sure there has been people out there that have had this problem before. would perfer to use a tuff country shock considering i have tuff country shocks on the truck now.

best bet is to make your mounting plate and then measure the space you have available, and you can order a shock of the proper size then.

That would work if he is running a wastegated turbo, my guess is he is running an s400 variant, that is getting close to the tower.

haha ya it hits the tower... no room ... i have a ruff country shock now if i cut the tower down and compress the shock some more do you think it will give me any trouble.

Make some flat plates and mount the shock to them. I am going to do that, just haven't mounted the plates to see what size shock I need.

got flat plates on both sides of mine with stock shocks and no problems

We cut down our purch that was there and rewelded it op works great.

just heat the shock tower up and beat it with a sledge lol thats all i did
