ok guys i am in at a stand still... what size of injectors..or turbo...i am running the quad adrenaline.. k,n air filter.. moded air box.. it is cut out to where its just the filter..straight pipe..(fass) getting it... so i am at that point...i would like to go as bigg as poss with out going into the motor..my goal is that the injectors and the turbo complement each other as much as they can...or i need a book for mechinicaly chalenged..(spell check dont work)

Does "going into the motor" mean studs and better cylinder sealing are out? That and your clutch will be your limits. A little 62 and some 100-125hp injectors would have you all fixed up. Your right foot would then control how long those other parts would last. Ive got a nice set of used 125's up for sale on here. Building another 62 tonite, you could be rollin by the weekend.

ditch the K&N with a good air filter set-up, 240hp+ injectors and twins....if your going big

agreed.

i'd get 150's, a 62 and some headstuds.

carfichris... thanks. for the input..thats what i need to know.. better studs and cylinder sealing.. did not know i will need to do that.. i thought of a cam.. and pistons.... cylinder sealing.. how and what will i need to do.. i have no idea,, and how much for the 125hp..now does that mean that they putt out 125 hp.. or will last up to 125hp....the turbo i am looking at is a ats auroa. or the phat shaft... now what size do i need..i was wanting to go up . like 1 or 2 sizes bigger then stock... but how do i do that. and what sizes are after stock then so on , and so on..

that is 125 horse over stock injectors. I would go with a s300 based turbo in the 62 configurtion like a 62/65/14 from Chris (carfichris), High Tech, or II. Then put 12mm ARP studs in with a new stock cummins head gasket. That should answer your questions. Tim

s300 turbo
62 mm compressor inducer
65 mm turbine wheel
14 cm turbine housing.

Industrial Injection, High tech turbo, Schieds or just about any turbo thread on here will have a pic of a s300 based turbo.

62/65/14.? ya c thats what i dont under stand

Those are specific sizes of the turbo that make up how its going to perform. You change those parts out to make larger or smaller turbos depending on your needs and goals. A few of us here seem to think that would be a good place for you to start. If you kept the boost down in the 45lb range and did a good retorque on the head bolts, that turbo and the injectors I told you about would be a nice safe combo as long as your smart with it. We can build that turbo for you as it was stated earlier in the thread.
