I See 238-4 Ab On My Transmission I Am Trying To Find Out What Transmission I Have I Know Its 4 Speed Auto In 99 Dually. Can You Guys Tell Me Where To Look?is There A Place On The Tranny Some Where? The Card In The Glove Box Say's I Have 410 Gears In The Rear End But It Does Not Say What Transmission.

It's a 47re. Every 24v until the late 03's have a 47re. Late 03's and up have a 48re. I think the 97 and 98 12v's also had the 47re but I'm not sure.

94 and 95 had 47RH, in 96 they changed to a 47RE which held until 03 when they went to 48RE.
