Close to getting a 1997 12 valve 4x4 5spd manual, plan on plowing, sled pulling and drag racing as well as a daily driver. What would be the best turbo for now and then later use it as the primary charger? I'm thinking aurora 3000 but hearing bad things so maybe industrial injection.

give Chris a call at Engineered diesel and ask him about a 62/68/14 with a race cover. the 62mm compressor with the race cover spools like a 62, yet flows more air, closer what a 64mm wheel would flow, it will not flow as much as a 64 wheel, probably somewhere inbetween the two. the 68mm turbine is a 10 blade design that has a aggressive blade pitch, this allows for great spool up, but will still flow good on the top end. you should have no issues with sled pulling or drag racing, and it would be a awsome primary turbo in a twin setup.

Thank you and you're the 4th person to recommend them and to recommend either 62/68/14 or 64/68/14 which proves it will be my choice.
