to go the other way

Everyone seems to like the electronix versions 24v VP44 and Common Rail cp3S - but they are 24v

WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO PUT ELECTRONIC INJECTORS IN A 12V HEAD AND RUN A DOUBLE CP3 FOR EXAMPLE?

WOULD IT BE THAT MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE - OR WOULD IT BE CHEAPER THAN THE P-PUMP 24V
AND WHICH WOULD MAKE BETTER POWER?

actually nobody really does like the electronic vp trucks. the pumps arent very reliable and are hard to get over 600 hp on fuel only. as for the common rails they can make awesome power and the pumps are reliable but it in my opinion wouldnt be worth converting a 12v into either one of them mainly due to cost and all the electronics you would have to deal with and the many modifications as well to the engine. dont see why you would want to do it anyways?

i've also wonderd this too. This way you can turn the 12v up at a push of a button instead of wrenching on it for just 50hp or so. A VP setup would be the easiest since the injectors are still pressure operated. all you would need is the front cover, 24V gears, cam sensor, computer, TPS, VP pump, and some custom bent lines. You would also have to get your injectors repop tested and set for the VP44 pressures. Maybe a few little things I eft out, but that should be the major stuff.
