Whats going on here? Dead APPS? VP?

Truck is throwing no codes. Every once in a while at idle or 20-30% throttle it has a slight hiccup. Actually it even killed its self out time at idle

At cruising speeds i am constantly getting a dead pedal. Sometimes itll hold its speed just not go any faster, other times it can drop from 60mph to 40 pretty quick. i can usally let out of the pedal and get back in it and things go back to normal. Sometimes it takes once sometimes i have to mess with it for what seems like forever.

I also have no tach movement or extremely radical movement. 1k-3k-nothing-2k just jumping all over the place.

What do yall think? How do i check it? What do i look at replacing?

Cam sensor going bad? My tach went crazy and i would lose power and then the truck would surge when mine went bad so that's my guess.

X2. The tach doing goofy things points towards the Cam sensor. Have you checked codes?

he said it was not throwing any codes, friend has a 02 and it was doing about the same thing and he replaced Apps, all is well now.
