What is needed to go mid to low 12s in the 1/4 with a 2wd 98 12v auto.
I know a good trans, but past that could it be had without opening up the motor?

I would o-ring the head. Studs or new bolts, 60lb valve springs. Pump mods, injectors, large single or twins. Flexplate, ladder bars, slicks and maybe a pusher pump. There's more you could do but that should get you there. Jim
