Just like the title says can someone explain the different? I know the big pullers run ag gov. And no Brandon I'm not wanting to change I'm just trying to learn.

Ag govs if ur at 2000rpms and u start loading the motor it will start fuelin more to maintain that rpm and regular gov wil only load as u try to make it fuel harder by masin the pedal harder. Ag gov are made to stay at one rpm while running where in a auto doesnt.maybe that will help

It all breaks down to cost (in dollars per revolution...)

Sigma > Ag gov > auto gov

I agree with this. Anyone that has plowed/disked with a tractor then hit a wet spot will understand. Compared to how when pulling a loaded trailer up a hill you have to give it more pedal to maintain speed.
