Whats this little light mean?

I just installed a new pyrometer and put in a new fuel filter. The little light that is next to the odometer that looks like a little pump is lit. Usually it goes off after the truck starts, but it is now lit while driving. Whats this mean?

looks like a pump or looks like maybe an engine? Is it yellow? If it looks like an engine, it says you have a trouble code

yes it could be an engine is guess. yes its yellow. how can I figure what code it is?

cycle the key 3 times and I think it should flash the codes.

0237= map sensor voltage too low? How can this be?

Check your connections on your comp box. The map sensor which is towards the back on the drivers side of the engine.

OK, I left to go eat and when I was leaving to come home the light went out.

Check the MAP sensor behind the fuel filter canister. You may have disconnected it a little when you did your new sticks the other day.

Thanks I will check it to be sure. That would be the one the drag comp tied into right? The other plug the comp plugged into just had a plug in it from the factory.
