blown up hx-35/40

compressor housing is usable but rough

comp wheel is junk

turbine may be usable but is rough

no ex housing

no gate

none of the parts to assemble the charger (snap ring for comp and ring for center to ex housing are missing)

basically a center section and a rebuilt kit

whats the most you would pay for that?

I wouldn't give $.02 even if it was delivered on a golden platter!

If you want a blown turbo, drive on over here and I'll give you one for free...yes I said free!
 
prolly 40 bucks or so cause it has a rebuild kit and a saveable 40 housing....
 
So you bought this: HX35 - HX40 Genuine Holset Rebuild kit. Includes free balancing of your wheels by the seller of this kit. I paid $90 something, $70 shipped to your door.

I have a HX35 core. It was a HX35/40 Hybrid, but the compressor wheel rubbed the housing for sale above. It is already machined for the 60mm wheel [HTT charges $85 for this] Could probably rebuild it with a new 60mm wheel and have youself a HX35/40. $50 shipped.

Buy all three, the rebuild kit, compressor housing, and core, and I'll knock $25 off the total.



You recieved exactly what you ordered...and now you're pissed about it?

FYI, we do not referee trade disputes here. This is not Romper Room. If you have a problem with the seller, take it up with him or the proper authorities. We dont give a sh!it about an exhaust housing.

i came on here and asked what a couple of parts were worth

you guys brought up the sale and all that

some people put their junk in the scrap bin

others put it in your swap meet

gonna post some pix to help you figure out which catagory this guy is in

not here, but in the feedback forum where this thread now belongs

You seem to be missing the point. They don't care what category he belongs in. That's between you and him. I've bought and sold stuff here and resolved disputes without ever starting a thread, or getting mods involved. And people that can't do that will be what bring about the end of the classifieds here...

the mods involved themselves, i didnt ask them anything other than what i asked everyone else, what a couple of parts were worth

i asked that and got an answer. shoulda been end of story. but some of you took it apon yourselves to try to stir up some crap and as usual try to make me look bad. if someone is missing the point it aint me...
 
So you can post experiences for buyers and sellers to read. Good or bad.

Not so you can complain that the junk parts you bought are junk.

I brought up the sale because you are trying to bag on somebody in a COMPETITION AND PERFORMANCE forum disguising your post as a "what is this worth" thread.... Most reading here can see that.....

And no, I dont care, but when you buy something and the guy offers a total refund less shipping (he forwarded us the PM's) and you start a thread like this, it makes you look like a punk.

The For Sale Area says buyer beware..... dude offered you a refund and instead of letting it go, you start this. Do you want us to come to your aid and kiss the boo-boo that the seller obviously caused you? Were you traumatized by ordering buying something and then being offered your money back? do you need assistance finding a support group? What do you want the members of Comp D to do?

If you have a beef with a seller, post feedback in the correct place. I'll let this instance slide since you were obviously so traumatized by the event that you forgot how to fking read.... :bang
 
dude knows its junk

he kept saying he "is gonna refund me fifty bucks" cuz he knows it was a rip

he never did the partial refund, just gave me a bunch of excuses why he hasnt

then he had the nerve to send a pm stating that the stuff better be in the same condition it was in when he shipped it or i aint gettin dick

lol

i dont trust him to do a refund if i send it back

he is a crook

plain n simple
