Time for 6 new tires, I have stock 235/80/R17's looking to go to 285/75/R17's and was wondering who makes a good 2" spacer that will hold up to heavy towing?

I just got the ebay aircraft aluminum spacers. I used to tow a lot before my turbo and injector choice but they have held up very well!

Thanks, after talking with other folks I am not ready to buy new wheels to put the 285's on so I guess I am going back with stock size.

My delima now is the Michlin LTX's or Nitto Dura Grappler?

you can run the stock wheels with your tire choice. Besides all the aftermarket dually wheels are all 6' wide. I run a 315/70/17 on a 6' wheel and they are motometal rims.

I have an 06 with 285/70/17 Toyo ATs on the stock wheels with 2" spacers between. Works good ans I tow daily with it.

Yup, and I have 16x10's up front and four 16x6's in the back with 305's all the way around and it tows like a dream.

I'm running 285's on my 04 with 1" aluminum spacers with no issues, Tow almost daily
