I plan on putting a lock up switch on the puller and just want to know from those that pull with an auto. heres the plan im going to pull in 2nd in the low side like i always do but this time i want to lock the torque converter after the charger hits. Does that sound right? lock it after the turbo is fully lit? I think this will increase my track speed and put more power down. Yalls help is greatly appreciated! and also I have a built BD power trans so I should be able to lock it in 2nd right? I ask because a friend of mine has a suncoast valvebody and TC and it will only let him lock it in 2nd when he is low in the rpm's and not all over it. It is an 01 by the way. :Cheer:

Lock the TC as soon as the truck hits 2nd gear as long as the turbo is lit. It will pull a LOT better with the TC locked.

Im not sure how your valvebody is set up. I would take the truck out and manually put it in 2nd and lock the tc and make sure it locks up. My VB is modified for lockup in any forward gear, but most of them will only lockup in 2nd-4th.

Mine will lock in any gear. And I always lock as soon as the turbo lights in first gear. Just be sure it will light before you lock or it will cost you ground speed. The first time or two I pulled I would lock it to soon and have to unlock and build RPM and then lock back.

i lock mine in 1st gear as soon as turbo hits and lets it shift on its own. im running a goerend brothers complete trans.
