Knowing that modding a truck will most likely lead to voiding your warranty, how long should one wait before touching a new 6.7L? Should you leave it stock for 10K, 20K, or 30K before touching it to make sure that you don't have a total Lemon?

I can wait for awhile, but I'm really worried about the damage that the EGR creates!

unplug EGR. There's a HUGE thread on cumminsforum about it. DPF deletes are everywhere now. H&S and Smarty are prob the best 2 code free performance tuners. If you're not looking to remove dpf, at least put a TS MP-8 on it. It'll help mileage, power, easy install and removal, and undetectable once removed

i waited 20k miles and put power to mine, wanted to make sure it was broke in and had no problems

just go straight to the xrt, delete everything and leave the xrt on stock power, the longer you wait the worse its going to be... just my .02

I would start to mod right off the dealer lot. You really don't have warranty, so why foul yourself.:hehe:
