This was my chain of events
muffler delete
cat delete
turbo silencer delete
edge j/a
unlock hot mode on edge j/a
ppe shim mod(2 shims)
pcv reroute/fingers stick/egr blocker
ppe intake mod
Blew transmission, upgrade to M/A Stage IV
drill out fuel rails
ppe shim mod bumped up to 3 shims(might as well be race valve)
ditch edge j/a, install PPE Hot +2 on level 5
MBRP 5" turbo back
Now I need a lift pump so I can crank PPE to +425 horse tune
Truck now walks all over stockish mustangs/camaros all day long! Once you start modding an LBZ, you will never stop. Its a disease that Im proud to have!
Are there any freebies like on a 12v cummins? silencer ring removal? egr block? Whats the cheapest things to do? Thanks for all the help
Buy EFI Live from a vendor on here. All of them will help you with some basic tunes. Cut out the cat and muffler.
If you decide you want power more than mileage, EFI can take you there too. Then you'll need a trans and lift pump as well. Save your money on all the other gimmicks and bull sh!t. You can get 500 HP with EFI, a lift pump, exhaust and a trans to hold it on any model Dmax.
