Which Generation do you like more for building power?

This thought was sparked by the CR ruining motorsports thread. What order of generations would you choose to build say a 800 hp DD pickup? Money and looks of the body styles and transmissions asside, just engines only. Mine goes:

P7100 12 valve, 5.9 CR, 6.7 CR, VP 24 valve, VE 12 valve.
