I'm going to be pulling, but also every day driver.
Then I would look at options other than the Monster pump. From what I've heard, you have to replace the injectors with THEIR injectors when you run the Monster pump. Just an additional cost to consider.
The good ole SO pump should work for what you are looking to do. These pumps were rated at less HP from the factory than the HO pump (found on 6-speed trucks). If you have a 5-speed or an automatic, you already have the SO pump. Just find a replacement. If you have a 6-speed, you have the HO pump. Some shops will try to tell you that you cannot run an SO pump on an HO truck. They are full of ****. Don't take your business to a place that claims something like that. However, many places DO charge an additional core charge when you go from an HO pump to an SO pump.
There are various "hot-rod" pumps out there that you can consider. I've heard good things about II hot rod pump. Personally, I'm running an SHO pump from Rip at Source Automotive. On stock HO injectors, I've made a scosh over 350hp and 885lbft of torque. I'm sure the pump has pleanty left, just need a bigger set of sticks.
If you have already fried an injector pump, it is probably also time to look at the lift pump. There are pleanty of options out there (FASS, Air Dog, Holley, etc) but you need to be getting a good, constant flow of fuel to help protect the new injector pump. I would add that to your "must have" list along with a new injector pump. Then, you can start looking at things like injectors, turbos, etc. etc.
