Which vp44 to go with?

My pump has dead pedal and jumpy throttle. Thoroughbred diesel has one for $995 blue chip has one for $1195. Has anyone ran one of these pumps?
 
Heard nothing but good things out of the bluechip products...

There are other options on the table but when the day is done, it's still a vp and still not completely reliable.

I currently have a blue chip special X pump and couldn't be happier, I am putting a 12v in my 99 soon and that pump will be up for grabs. I doubt you want to wait another month or two but it only has 15k on it, and has been feed by a airdog 150 at 16psi since day one.

What's that pump compare to?
 
Scheid's SO seems to have a reliable track record. That's the one I'm gonna get soon.
