Hey ive been looking all over for the forums and im kinda surprised that i cant find a question like this. so here it is--

Before i buy them im wondering how hard the installation process is and if there is any important tips like how to reset the needles or something?

well what about the bezel? that should be simple yes?

It will probably work. The wait to start and water in fuel warnings should just be where the other warning are on a gas cluster.
I looked for a while because I wanted something that looked like the 3rd gen cluster. I came up with nothing that didn't look like ricer crap or had flames.

Pretty much the only thing I have seen that looks worth a crap is doing all the backlighting in blue LED lights and putting blue ruscolux over the digital display.

Where did you get the LEDs to do this? I have been wanting to do something like this to my truck for a long time but wasnt sure where or what I needed for the LEDs.
 
I don't remember the twist lock base size off the top of my head. There was a thread about it on CF a while back.
 
I don't know about the 24v dash but I got one of the "cheap" kits off ebay and didn't turn out half bad... Definitely something different than everyone else

^^^Yeah I know! I usually have my interior lights dimmed to make them barable.
 
http://www.nuimage1.com/ put a stainless steel kit in a hummer.. turned out really good, also got a custom bezel and a needle kit. They have gauge faces for diesels, i dont think all the styles are for the diesel tho.
