97 12 valve with 250k. New head gasket at 200k. I was driving down the road and upon decelerating the white smoke pours out....once u get back into it the white smoke clears. I popped the radiator cap off and the radiator is completely full of oil. Im guessing the oil cooler gasket failed on me. I did a coolant pressure test and it holds pressure alright. Im just puzzled as to why the white smoke comes out only while decelerating....any ideas ?

time for a head gasket again. when you accelerate the cylinder pressure and oil pressure push back into the coolant and when you decelerate the coolant pressure is high enough to be forced into the cylinders. time to start over is what I think.

I think you are right. I suspected the oil cooler gasket because I noticed a few of the 8mm bolts were loose. I'll end up doing the h.g. Again and oilcooler gasket too.

Don't think you will be getting coolant in the cyl from an oil cooler. If you haven't already it is the perrfect time to Oring it.

I think coolant is getting into the cylinder from the head gasket-
Also I have an oil cooler/gasket problem. Yea o rings would be nice for the future, but ill hold off until I can afford it.
