Who cleans and pop test injectors??? I have a set of 100's that need to be clean. Whats the going rate??

Not sure where you're at in Indiana. MDI in Crown Point did mine and they seemed like a good bunch of guys.

Yeah, I had a local shop quote me like $6 ea on the sticks in my closet.

They are waiting on the stand to do CR injectors.

FWIW it was Thompson Diesel, I think they have a website.

injectors

hey jay, can you flow cummins injectors the same way your going to do chris's? just wondering how those big injectors i have compare to the other sets sitting in the tool box?? i never see cc ratings on the dodge injectors but always on the p/s why?

Well hopefully by the end of the year I will have a machine that will flow check the mechanical and eletronic injectors. there is one available but not in my budget now.

the reason I can't and most others either is just what the title to this thread is Pop testing only shows the spray pattern, if the injector leaks and where it opens at. the p-stroke injector with the way you test it needing oil pressure, pulsing by electonics and rpm the machine was made to check by cc per 1000 strokes.

yes there is a definate difference. the common rail injectors will be tested in a similiar manner to the P/S. I run a machine to check P/S injectors and it is interesting. you can see oil leaks and internal fuel leaks. P/S injectors are a p.i.a! I dont really care to rebuild them but I do. there are a different beast.
