Im looking to go all through mine and get new bearings, chain, possibly billet shafts... Is there anything I need to watch out for when splitting the case?? IE: springs any thing like that?????? its a esof t-case

Nope... you will be suprised at how huge those shafts are. But I do stock a 6.0 and a 7.3 271 just in case though..that way I won't need them.

It has been years. But I would move you up a few spots in my hero list if you break the stock case with what you are gonna do.

The only thing I would have is a good set of duckbill pliers, otherwise all these newer chain drive cases are pretty easy to go through. That and if the oil pump is like a np241s make sure to get it lined up right, because the tabs snap off pretty easy.
