I need help ever since i put my silver bullet on my truck won't spool sitting still.. any ideas cause i'm all out check out my sig. and let me know what might help, also i just got a smarty to stack with my edge to try and help and i still can't get it to work. Although once it spools its outta control just no low end power at all.

Don't see your sig, but I would say since you have a second gen and if it is an 01-02 torque management could be your enemy.

Sry just put the sig up after the post my truck is 98.5 4x4 ECLB, IIHR VP44, .109 crossover tubes, CPP 200HP injectors, edge comp box hot unlock, smarty, II silver bullet, FASS 150, ATS manifold, 4in exh, DTT built 47RE

So torque management should be my problem since 98.5 shouldn't have it.

98.5 doesn't have torque managment, it is the stall on your convertor, or you just have too much low end fuel.

its a 66 bullet,

What should i try maybe changing chips or changing the fuel settings

Does it come up to about 1600rpm and stall there when you are powerbraking in 4wd? maybe get up to 5psi or so...

So it wont even spin them in 2wd power braking?

Boost leak, exhaust leak(before turbo), valves out of whack, etc...?

It is probably the stall on your convertor, could be a boost leak, but I would lean towards the stall on your convertor is too tight.

Are you slowly easing into the throttle, or just going straight to the floor?

ya our .093 drill bit was bad so that was the next size

check for exh, leaks can't find ne. boost leaks not sure about what is a good way to check for boost leaks.

how can i loosen up my converter?

about 1250 rpms

i've tried both easing or just flooring it.

I should have seen your sig, DTT was notorious for using tight convertors, that silver bullet won't light until about 1700, your convertor is too tight.

How long have you tried to spool it? I had a convertor similar in tightness, and it took over a minute to get it lit.

Is it a stock stall? Something is wrong. On my old truck in ran a hrvp, mach 7s, silver bullet, build all billet tranny and drove the truck everyday. Had no problems with spool at all. Spooled around 1700 rpm. Tripple disk goerends with stock stall. Truck was a 98.5 as well.. now if your stall is lower than stock, that's your problem or a massive leak somewhere

Bingo. Spooled at 1700 rpm on my truck with a stock stall

Not sure if it is a stock stall all i know is its from DTT not sure exactly.

Ya mine lights at about 1700.
it holds boost just fine once its going.
i've never timed it to spool but at least 45 sec. and nothing

what would be a better converter to get for it?
