Dont have much luck with water in fuel seperator sensors......probally put 5 on my truck since ive had it...........changed the fuel filter last month and the sensor has been staying on.........swaped in a old one same thing....any way to fix these sensors???

You are probably getting water in the connector, it will cause the light to come one.

#1 Buy good fuel.
#2 Unplug water sensor, drain water weekly, change fuel filter every oil change.

Get rid of it. I run these:

What did you use to eliminate the filter. I can't see it from my iPhone.

Well I found a regular fuel filter from fram an stuck it in there for now just to stop the leak. Monday I will takle it agian and fix it the right way.

I had 2 WIF valves go bad and start leaking fuel. Found the WIX 33391 that doesn't have the valve. Got rid of the WIF valve and sensor.

Fleetgaurd FS1280 keeps the water seperator and does away with the crapy water sensor

I found out after some screwing around that if the sensor is tightened up to much the light will stay on no matter what, back it out a c hair and the light goes away. But if it's leaking and fails the other filter is obviously the way to go.
