I'm thinkin about getting a external wastegate and a 200hp shot of nos and I was wondering if it will hurt me in the long run after my truck hits 800hp its compete thanks

Here's everything that is done to the truck

01 2500 white 6sp Silver Bullet 66, 6x13 sticks,Monster Pump Stage 2,Cross Over Tubes,ARP Head Studs, Hamilton Pushrods and Valve Springs,O rings, Valair DD Clutch, Quadzilla ADR with Pulse, ATS Ex Manifold, 3 ISSPRO Guages (fuel pre, boost, pyro), Airdog 150,Icebox intake,BD Short Shifter, and 6 inch miter cut stacks

What do you use it for? Drag racing, sledpulling, just for fun? I don't know much about nitrous, but I would say if you're going to use it, do a couple shots instead of one big one... also, are you using it to cool EGTs, burn excess fuel or spool the charger? I imagine we would need more info to figure out what you'll need. I'm sure some of the racing guys will have more advice, they use it ALOT more than us sled draggers, lol

I had a silver bullet and was told by 2 reputable big horsepower guys over 1200 each that the bullet will be a time bomb due to the shafts. Thats why I stepped up before I sprayed also as said above multiple stages are alot easier on everything especially with a progressive controller .

Its my daily driver but I also dyno, sled pull and drag race with it but the only time Im going to use it is when I dyno once it hits 800hp the truck is done and will not go any bigger

I'm not sure that a 66 will live through 800hp with nitrous....

daily driver
drag race
sled pull
800 HP
and the best line was "will not go any bigger"

LOL that's a good one right there.

I dont think it ever end's.

I guess when you run out of crap to bolt on, is that when to stop?? But then you get the job of fixing broken drivetrain components. You should know once you get to a point, the truck will not like seeing a lot of miles, climbing hills in the rain, towing without turning the highway black....egts climbing from lugging up hills on roads, the list goes on, blowby spraying all over the undercarriage....if you are not wrenching your own truck, you soon will be, or expect to fork over big bucks for monthly repairs. But on the plus side, ya get to clean your stacks with a chimney broom!

i watched an HTT 64/65/14 take a healthy shot last year but it had an external gate on it. It made 750 +/-.
What makes the SB so weak?

i had a common rail w/ 200 shot of spray, programmer,box,66 turbo,150 stix, an sheild my 6 speed. that cool mistake costed me 1200 for a new trany an somebody got a good nitrous kit for a dam good price lol.

the only time any1 needs nitrous is if your drag racein ONLY. your truck needs to be a DRAG TRUCK. not a daily driver!!!
