Can anyone please tell me if a 06 common rail head will fit on a 2001 24 valve.
Why i ask is i was hogging out my stock head and found water jacket.
I have a line on a head with 100,000 km on it for cheap. but need to know to jump on the sale.
They will but you need to mod a water port or 2 to match the gasket I believe. They are actually an advantage over a 2nd gen head in that they dont have the hump right under the horn.
cool i have a line on a used one and if it is doable i will pick it up this weekend. i am told that i will need some special connector tubes. has anyone done this and can let me know what is all involved
