will a common rail head flow more than a 24v head...

i think stock the cr head does flow more air over a vp44 head. but with porting and polishing they will be about equal.

well thing is if you p-pump a cr head you have to either cut off or modify the intake plenum to make it work.

cant do a port job correct and full if u dont cut it off.. already planed for that

xtubes are different on cr head as well... my buddy just did his. flows more yes. port work on the non cr 24v head can equal it up. cr head also cools more efficiently.

If you are planning on getting port work done, it really makes no difference.

Valve seats are another story.

been on the bench with both and they both flow almost the same stock, and they both suck. the range is betheen 140 and 150
I know that Greg at ZZ likes the CR head better when starting from scratch with a new head casting.
Greg has all of the flow sheets on his flow bench from both heads , I put them in to his folder give hime a call if you want to know , he spens a lot of time on the flow bench 940 337 4275
