will a scotty 2 flow enough air for my truck. I found a guy that will sell me one for $150 but I want to know if it will flow enough first
 
That's Questionable. I would opt for a Scotty 3 . That way you would know for sure it would handle it.
 
I was recently told that the scotty 3 would not work on a 2nd gen because they were way different. and awhile ago I pm'd scotty requesting a scotty 2 and he told me he stopped making them. he didn't mention the use of a scotty 3 I think he would have if it would work

Ok then step up to the Scotty 4
 
Scotty 3 and 4 are for 3rd gens and scotty has had the company shut down for years. It was taking up to much of his time and keeping him from his family and he got fed up with his formers doing shoddy work. FWIW, I'm still running a scotty 2 on mine and as far as I know it's flowing enough. I've done 496hp with it with no problems.
 
if it's got enough air for you it should sure a shell be enough for me thanks thats what I was looking for by the way do you ever plug the hole on long trips if so how does it do egt wise
 
I haven't plugged the hole in 5 years. I've just learned to block it out. Much like a girlfriend. LOL
 
Heck I didnt even know there was anything other than the Scotty 2 .
I just kept throwin numbers out numerically higher cause I am a smart ass and if they exsisted (which I didnt know) they would have to be better right ? After all the number is higher which means it would have to flow more.

Sweet deal. I know when I got banned he was busy hauling RV's I believe and hadn't posted in forever.
