I thought I would ask here, cause in the morning I may have the chance to buy a P-Pump off a Ford or International engine. It is a drivers side pump like a Cummins not a passanger side 'Mirror' pump. I just want to know if I can use it on a 5.9 Cummins. I ask cause I have a First Gen truck and I want to upgrade from the VE to the P-Pump. If I can use it, I want to try and get it at a good price. If not let me know so I don't accidently buy it! I am just itching to get my hands on a Port-Helix pump hehe =D

better get more info from them because some ford medium duty trucks used cummins engines. also some other engines used the bosch pump but had a small shaft going to the pump on the side. we have volvo graders that have the bosch pump also.

It depends what engine its coming off of. You run into the problems of fitment, delivery valve size, governor setup, oil feed/return. Your best bet would be to get one off a 5.9 or an 8.3 if its a p-7100.

Not positive but I think the pumps off the dt466's run a reverse rotation.
