will stock hydraulics work on sbdd?

Whats the plate load? Usually stock system doesnt suffice, but its a good idea to swap them out either way.

My stockers held up to my 3600 plate load for almost a year.....

stock will hold with a 3250, and might hold with a 3600 but is not recommended! i have a 3600 and my stock lasted about a week

My hydros are still stock I ran a 3850 dd sbc never one problem what trans do u have

As suggested above:

They will probably work.. For a while.

Mine went out on the 405 in downtown Seattle Wa at 5:00pm while towing a trailer. Life doesn't get much worse than that.

Get the SBC upgraded hydraulics and don't worry about it. When they fail, you'll kick yourself for not getting them and installing them when you had the time... And it's never fun to work on **** on the side of the road.

Mine never held. Impossible to shift almost. Have to rev it up to get it into gear and rpm shift from there because it goes into gear faster and smoother.

It's the 3250 and I don't pull it just use it round the farm. All I have is crazy Larry so I aint pushin much HP. I just got a good deal on it. You think If I'm easy on it it'll hold up?

yeah drive it till you get the money to upgrade, you won't regret it I promise! the DD will be so much easier to drive

Great clutch. If you get it for the right price, do it!

Like everyone has said though... Don't be surprised when it fails. It will most likely fail. I have a good friend that has almost 140k on his stock hydraulics with a haisley dual disk.. Mind lasted a good 85k. But, they will most likely fail.. Start saving for the upgrade, and get it when you can. :)

I have a SB slave for sale, but it's only the slave! not sure if it can be put on the stock master

do like im doing and just buy the hydraulics and put them in the truck or in your toolbox for the day you actually need it.
I have had the master shoot out of the firewall one time too. All of the little plastic ears that thread into the firewall broke off.
I pushed the peddle down and POW,,.. there she went.
