Will this work?

Will this work for compressor piping, or is it going to leak? I could see it leaking, but i cant find a stainless steel 3" v-band on ebay with a sealing O-ring.

I think it would probably be fine, but you could always cut a groove for an o-ring in it if you wanted to.
