Im not real familiar with the wire taps, Right now i just have the wire tapped with the scotch lock that came with my drag comp. Is this not the right way to do these things. What are the pros ands cons to the other ways that people are doing this? Is this scotch lock going to kill my VP?

Yea, I've been running mine with the same tap for I don't know how long and I have'nt had any problems.

I just see other people posting on these different types...didnt know if one is better than the other?

If you are getting contact it's working. No way of doing it is going to give you more/less power/reliability.

Scotch locks (the real 3M ones) are a pretty reliable method of making an electrical connection.

mine came halfway lose and felt like you was turning the box up and down while driven put on a stealth kit fixed the problem you might have better luck

I would never recommend to anyone to EVER use those quickie clamp things,....that is soooooooo the wrong way to wire things up....

I believe it voids warrantys with some manufacturers. Its a scotch lock they have there place, but there are better things out there. If it is working good staying dry and not corroding then leave it. If you are worried about it then solder it.

nothing wrong with the schotch lock as of right now, so I guess its going to stay.

solder mine cause of crappy connetion good thing i like the edge box
