Wrong manifold?

Im in the process of installing a 3-piece ats exh. manifold (first experience with aftermarket manifold) on a buddys 24v. The heater lines aren't reinstalling themselves like they should, and this manifold has a raised boss over cylinder 4, just like a 12v. Im thinking this manifold would fit beautifully in my 12v, but its not in this 24v

Question---Does ATS make two different manifolds? Can't tell in the pictures on the website because they take them upside down......Was I sent the wrong manifold?????? {insert: I can't find the p/o'ed smiley face}

Are the ports squared or round?

Squared= 12 valve
Round= 24 valve

My ATS manifold was the same way on my 24V... I wonder if they sent me the wrong one too? Oh well, I sold it months ago...

The ATS atleast from what I have seen always have a clearance issue with the heater lines . The bracket they give you is silly and never works . I always have to build another bracket to keep the lines where there suppose to be.

Is there a little angle iron bracket they supply you with? If you bend the tab on the heater line that would normally bolt to the head, you can attach it to the little bracket they supply to keep it away from the manifold. Its hokey, but works.

alright ill try that little bend trick. Yea they were round im pretty sure, but didn't look before she got bolted on.

Mine came with that bracket too... It would have never worked, so I don't know why they include it? I ended up bending the tap on the heater hose 180 at the bend and it barely lines up.

You sold it to me and it is a 24V second gen manifold. Worked great to, thanks.
