Well Im finally going to go away from my WSB turbo for something a little bigger. I hope i dont regret it. I Love this turbo but am planning an upgrade in the fuel department.

The WSB is a Bell based turbo made by Pius. (WSB wicked son *****) is the little brother to the USB (ultimate son *****).

I think its good to about 500-550 HP with the right set up. It is a smaller turbo (i think 57-58 MM) I have a wastegated and non WG housing for it. This thing spools faster than the stock 3rd gen turbo and will produce well over 45 PSI.

Its perfect for towing with the quick spool up and is very effiecent. Most people use them on the 2nd gen 24v trucks but it works well on the 3rd gen with some minor changes. (Down pipe and cold pipe, which i have both)


I run synthetic oil and a turbo timer set to 350 for shut off. I have about 8-10K miles on this turbo. It has about 10 1/4 mile runs on it.

How about a trade for a River City 62/71/14? Its for a third gen truck and it would save me the hassle of trying to mate it up to my 02.
 
I would like to get $1200 for the turbo, intercooler pipe for 3rd gen, and both exhaust housings. But id take any reasonable offers.


Kazairl - I have a II 62 coming to me in a few days so a trade wouldn't do me much good. Where are you located? PA? Is the same turbo you got back in Nov last year?
 
A little too far east. I'm in NE. And yes it is the one I bought around that time Last year. Want to know the scary part? I'm just getting around to putting it on this weekend!!! I needed a few things before I put it on (like a clutch and Fuel Pump) and I have NO restraint!

My truck is a DD and a 6-speed so I'd prefer spool up over big power which is why I though about trying to talk you out of the WSB. But I only need a few more small peices to make the 62 work so no biggy. I'll just wait and see how it turns out.
 
Let us know how it spools when you get it together.

I agree with you on the spool vs power which is why i love the WSB...hope i don't regret the switch.
 
Anybody interested in this turbo?

I might have to just put it up on the shelf to use on a twin set up in the future if it dosent sell.

Well its off the truck and boxed up ready to be shipped any interest?

Ive got the down pipe, clamp, two exhaust housings, turbo, 90* elbow, intercooler pipe for 3rd gen, and even a AFE stage 1 with torque tube.

Im looking at a super B too, not sure which Id rather have!! Ive had some interaction with the WSB and the super B....
 
I need to buy some studs so i need to sell this thing. Anybody getting their tax refund yet?
 
BUmp $1000.00 for turbo, both exh housings, cold pipe and down pipe.

will work with 2nd gen (wastegated housing is 3rd gen set up). I had it on my 06 so with the modified cold pipe it will work on a 3rd gen.
 
any idea if the exh housings would work on a hx52? im looking for one thats wastegated,thanks -scott
