I have a tailhousing from a 1998-2002 DHD, which is a 1 piece.
I also have the 2 case halves from the same unit.
It fried the main shaft in it, which is why it got parted out.

$65 SHIPPED for the extension housing.

Just realized that you are in Canada, shipping's gonna be a killer.

What are the differences in the tail housings i have a 241 dhd out of a 02 6 speed that has been leaking for some time I installed a new seal still leaked I assume the bushing is wore out yoke appears and feels to be good and a new tail housing is through the roof sorry to sabotage this thread lol.

Does it move around if you push it up and down? If it's tight then maybe the seal lip is in a groove left by the other seal. Can always install new one not as deep or deeper.

Yes there is a small amount of up and down play I attempted to locate a replacement bushing but didnt have any luck.

It is 2 piece housing unit. I really just need the speedo housing. The tail end where the slip yoke goes seems fine.
