WTF Happened to Mad Dog????

Looks like tie rod, then axle, then axle sheared a balljoint or broke the knuckle.
 
Seen that happen to a 1/2t chevy the same night here in Illinois. THe look on the lady drivers face was priceless. She still won the class.
 
There was A Lot of carnage at springfield. It was really crazy.

i have to say its been a long weekend in ohio and thanks to all of those that helped us this weekend, josh woodruff and erik stacy for letting us use the shop and borrow turbo parts saturday morning at 1am and curt haisley for helping me get the turbo back together. And everyone else that helped us get the truck off the track last night. the mad-dog broke the rear ring and pinion and yoke, drivers side ball joints, axle shafts and u-joint,and tie rod. Oh and spiked the motor to 7,000 rpm so now its time for new bearings and rod bolts in the motor. As if the week isnt going to busy enough we'll get it back together though, once again thanks to everyone for the support and help me and jake both appreciate it

Boy super street is no walk in the park. 2 mod trucks running in the class now. Thats awesome. Nice carnage. Hope it wasn't to expensive. Look forward to seeing it run in Muncie.
 
Man there were is truck issues there, a few I wondered if they were ever going to come online......love that class.

When I first watched the video I thought he might have twisted the pumpkin and poped out an axle tube.......guess it wasnt as bad as it looks!


And yes, the Super Street class is NASTY!!!!!!
 
I saw video from back in the day where Rock Hard Ram sheered the whole drivers side wheel off. It was pretty crazy to see. I don't know what other kind of damage it did but it didn't look like a fun ride.
 
WWWOOOOWWWW that sucked. hope you get it back 2gether and did i c right curt runnin street tires? i saw another video him runnin cut tires. and "gotta have it" ran good to.
 
O-U-C-H!!!!! It looked for a second like that wheel wanted to be on the other side.

Auctually, I think Van is Pulling Off Constantly for a while. Curt had a Baby a few Days before Fass Nationals. And yes, its on Street tires this year! PPL runs a class that fits the truck better, and they are running points in that class.
 
sounds like it spun some pretty good R's before he realized what happened too. Poor rod bearings. lol

o ok sweet. i aint talk to him since i got my clutch. faith miller is doin the same thing with hers. runnin the 3.2 twin class we have down here.
