Yanmar???

Looking at getting the new John Deere Gator XUV with a 850 Yanmar Diesel in it... What can you do to these things and make them live a good life? :st:

turn the pump up fun fun i did that on my 4200 but had to turn it down hydro sucked the rpm down way to much and it smoked all the time

From my experiences with Yanmars i can say they are good engines. Dad has a 1989 Yanmar tractor w/ a loader thats use just about every day and so far hasn't had a problem. Granted the tractor does have under 1500 hrs but when its used, its used very hard. The worst problems he's had were a stuck injector and a plugged fuel filter. They are tough little engines.
