Yukon Dana 80 Spool????????

I'll bring this back from the dead because I am also looking at one for my 80...Anyone got anything about them?

I am also thinking about running one of their spools in my front 60...
 
I just installed a yukon dana 80 spool, but only have a few hooks on it.
The problem that some people may have is that the speedometer gear will not fit on it.
 
Correct, the speedo ring usually will not work. We have one in Lynn's 2wd and so far we have had no problems from it. We busted a welded open carrier and a set of 4.88 gears before, then went to the yukon spool and 4.63. Since then just a stock axle and a u-joint is all we have had problems from, but thats with around 1000lbs hanging off the flat bed and another 400 behind the cab on a very tight track. Yes we are finally making enough power to break stuff lol.
 
What sucks is that the spool, gears, and master install kit for the front 60 costs LESS than just the spool for the 80...Its going to cost me 1800 just in parts to do both axles...Then add labor onto that...
