Selling a ford freshly rebuilt zf6, bell hoising and the adaptor plate to bolt it to a 5.9 cummins. Will.come with new throw out bearing and the fork arm.. the arm was modified a lil to help clear a double disk.. works great, shifts fine.. was in my puller for 2 pulls..

Asking $1600 b/o. Located in central upstate ny

Is the starter on the driver side or passenger side of that adapter plate? I guess it would use a Ford starter?

Starter is on drivers side and it's a cummins starter... it looks to have a hole on the passenger side to use a ford starter also though..

Could you post a pic?

Trying to think this through for a friend who's putting a 4BT in an old Chevy truck. He tells me the starter needs to be on the right due to the shorter block and the accessories on the left. Since it bolts to the Cummins, I take it that you would use a Dodge clutch and flywheel. The input shaft of the ZF6 is the same as the NV4500, correct?

I've got a fullsize dodge cummins starter on my 4BT with the dodge vac pump/power steering pump combo on my 4BT Dakota. It all fits, and I have a mid mount engine mount between everything too.

I agree it fits. I am using a nv4500, dodge starter and dodge ps and vac pump on my 56 chevy 4bt. Zf6 would b awesome

I can send a few pics of it installed.to snyone wanting them.. as everything is still in truck..

It currently has a 271 on it, so I would assume a 241 would. I will try to find out for sure though

Good gosh! So the tranny is 4X4? I just assumed it was RWD, I guess cause that's what my guy needed. I just blew right by the "was in my puller for 2 pulls.. " part. :what: :hehe:

Lol yes, its a 4x4 tranny. Will also include the slave cyl and shifter. still avail.

You have a flywheel for that setup? I have someone interested.

I do not have the fly wheel available as I will still need that..

The fly wheel is a cummins fly wheel with the pilot bearing hole machines larger for the zf6 Pilot. The splines are the same as a nv5600 . Basically it's a nv5600 13" clutch with pilot bearing bore, machines to accept the larger pilot bearing

Hope this info can help.. the zf6 has the larger 1 3/8" input also

Just realized my reply never got sent. That info helps a bunch, thank you! :)
