He351 hotpipe seal

Does anyone know if there is a readily available copper or graphite seal to fit an he351cw exhaust outlet flange?

My hotpipe consists of a 351 flange that was cut off of a bad exhaust housing, had some warp in it after welded, got it fairly flat on a disc sander, tried high temp rtv/foil and still have a bit of a leak.

If you have any water jet guys around they can cut one easily.

There is an old thread, you may have to look for it, I think someone has used an egr gasket from a class 8 Cummins.

I saw that but it was a little fuzzy as to what the gasket actually fits.

Got measurements for the cummins seal. Roughly 4.5” od / 4” id so it will work for the he351.

Picked one up and with a little trimming works perfectly.

How thick is it? Is it like a grafoil style gasket?

.054” yes its grafoil style with a steel inlay. Has a bit of a conical shape but it still works. I did have to pry my hotpipe back a bit to get it to fit between the flanges.
