Quick question for you chevy boys!

A friend just bought a 93 chevy 6.5l turbodiesel/ automatic truck. What are his options for performance gains? Are they mechanical or electronic engines? Asked him, but he says "I don't know, but it needs more umph!"

That year may still have the manual injector pump. It can be adjusted. The injectors are mechanical. Be careful when hotrodding the 6.5. Head gaskets don't like much boost. I think like 15 -18 lbs is pushing it.

My buddy picked up a set of +50 horse marine injector nozzles on eBay for $140. The install was really easy, and we had them in in about an hour. The initial drive showed a really good increase in power over the stockers.

from what i understand these guys come highly recommended when it comes to upgrading the 6.5L.

good luck with it. i hear it's not any easy task but you can get some decent results outta them once you get there.
