I have the stock IFS 9.25", virtually the same thing as dmax trucks but different physical housing mounts, and it has done many boosted launches. Your 44 should be fine but dont expect it to live too long if you're going to abuse it.

Hey i was wondering what kind of axles you have up front i got a 1989 chevy 3500 with a dana 44 up front and a 14 bolt rear will that hold up with a cummins swap if im not boost launching in 4 wheel drive? everyone says dana 60 but i have a 3/4 ton 44 would it work for now?

Great looking truck. Got a buddy that does Cummins to Chevy swaps like yours. Put twins on his last winter, not an easy thing to do.
