P-Pump it!! (info)

Here's the list I made from my kit. Quote me, then copy into notepad to get proper formatting. Also I am making a webshots album since there seems to be more interest in pictures. http://community.webshots.com/album/569265894Brlumf

If there is a better hosting place, let me know, I'm not too thrilled with that site.

Did you buy all these parts new or did you piece everything you dont have a part number for? Im just trying to get a idea of what all of this would cost.

PPumped 24V's are FUN! I got to go for a spin with Tim (warpig) the third Friday in February in CT, and that thing rips. Have some traction issues when nailing it rolling up a side road. Very impressive!

Thats everything that came in the kit, and anything that had a part number is there. Things like the springs and bolts just came in parts bags, no numbers.

Stupid question here...Why do yo need the TPS/APPS after the swap?

24v P-Pump conversion

I've read of guys using their existing cables and modifying the p-pump linkage to accept the 24v APPS (TPS). I used a 12v TPS and a 12v TPS plug was spliced in.
Tim

Tim,

Can you explain this a little further??
Also how did you wire in the 12v TPS?!

thanks,
scott

PS...you can probably tell I'm having issues. LOL

to wire in 12V TPS to 24V APPS wire harness

Pin 1 on the 12V plug (Black/blue tracer) for tps goes to the black/yellow tracer on 24V APPS Harness.

Pin 2 goes to Blue/black tracer.

Pin 3 goes to Blue/white tracer.

Scott, that's straight from the "Monkey" who wired mine :Cheer:

You need a 12v plug from a 12v wire harness.

If u wanted to use the stock bracket and cable U need to drill extra holes were they mount to the pump and I removed the rivet holden the small ball end drilled the hole bigger and mounted the Ppump ball end to hold the linkage.. Now this will vary usen a auto , but I'v seen it done too
