F250/Cummins Swap

Need input on Ford intercooler boots. Looks like the mishimoto boots like to delaminate.

Anyone know where these coolant hose adapters came from?

I meant on the 6.7L. I know what it has to do, but trying to come up with a way to plumb the return side that will look decent. I went and got the 12V nipple with two ports and put in my feed neck. I'm thinking about coming up vertically there and then down the side of the valve cover. It's either that or a version like the 6.7 down under the ex manifold. I don't want to limit turbo upgrades in the future.

I ended up with a shift lever, one of each of the heater hose connections, and brackets cut out to attach the Ford shift linkage to the 47re case. Pics to follow.

I bought a 5r110 shift lever but the ford cable clipped onto the 48re linkage so i only welded up a cable mount bracket for now, still trying to figure out my anteater issues

So you nailed it. 48re lever is almost the radius it needs, and the vertical offset is correct for the end of the Ford cable to pivot correctly.

The offset one is the one I made for fitup that didn't work.

Yea i didnt touch the 48re arm on mine just welded the ford cable mounting point to the dodge 2 bolt mount then popped the cable onto the 48re pivot arm. Just annoys me that in reverse the pointer needle is between park and reverse on the dash and drive is neutral on the dash pointer. but in park its perfect guess i could adjust the needle where its correct for in gear and just off when in park though then it would not annoy me as much.

Does your engine have a coolant bypass on it? The clamps that come with the kit would be a clean way to plumb it down the side of the valve cover. I have 2 extra ones if ur interested.

Depends on which style you have available. I bought an older fleece with p clamps.

Question of the day: will the 03-05 trans cooler lines around the back of the block fit with the fleece bypass?

Driver side cables are on. Engine harness is finalized.

Engine runs. Probably have 5 minutes of run time on it.

Hahahaha I just spent an hour snaking these tubes in to my engine compartment and sorting how to get it mounted. I come inside and cruise Insta to see that PDD put up a picture of the exact thing I intended to do. Also checked oil pressure.
