Project 6.0.4 (6.4 Compounds on a 6.0)

IDP has some great tunes and they woke up my 6.4 and moved the mileage from 9 up to 18mpg. They are hard to get ahold of sometimes but the tunes do work.

You need to get the VVT working on that unit, then I'm sure she'll pull harder, at least on the bottom.
I was playing around with the VVT on my 6.4, and with the VVT in the closed position (try to make as much boost as possible), she was making 7 PSI of boost at a 1100 RPM high idle.

How excactly are you going to control the turbocharger with the 6.0 computer?

I also agree, you need a new EGT sensor.

Because its not a 6.0.4!

EGT replaced, truck is back on the road. Now using the Edge Insight to monitor gauges including the EGT. It is hard to see in the video, but cruising at 75, EGT's are at 750* not too bad...

Cool project!

That last video is hard to watch with the sunlight coming through the trees like that. Can't really focus in on the gauges.
 
I like how whatever turbocharger comes on your truck, theres always a want to change it; lol.
If it came with a single, buy doubles. If it came compounded, put on a big single. lol.

VVT compounds off the 6.4 are an awesome setup. Even stock wheels.
