which Towing tires?

That's why I stuck with Ricksons when I bought new tires for the goat, with 10K miles on them they look about the same as new, with 16's by the time I hit 15k miles they were half wore out already. Heck, I put 30k miles on a set of tires that already had 60k on them when I got them and that's with me trying to bark tires every shift :evil

Gimme another couple of months with the new ones on the truck and I'll give you a wear report.

What about those *new* Silent Armor tires from GoodYear? What kind'a advantage would they have?
They Dont Balance for S$%^ are over priced :blahblah1:
Try the Firestone Transforce. they replaced the Steeltex and are even better in wet weather ride better etc.Im talking about the highway tread not off road.

I thought Goodyear had a "new" silent Armor tire made for high TQ trucks? .........I HATE tires that don't balance.

Rich,

a good 70k mi. tire is the Michellin XPS Rib...that was the only tire I could keep on my 96 dodge dually...Yeah...I admit it...I owned a Dodge...traded it for the DMAX though and never looked back...

as far as balancing goes...get some Centramatics
